How to Create a Branded YouTube Channel
Tip #1: Have an Established Brand Before Branding Your Entire YouTube Channel
If you don’t know what your brand really is or how you are presenting yourself out in the Facebook and Instagram world, or on your website, then it’s going to be really hard to create a brand on YouTube. Your brand needs to match everywhere.
I used to be a brand designer. I’m not saying you have to pay thousands and thousands of dollars to create a brand before you put it on your YouTube channel. What you do need is a color palette, a look and a feel for your business.
Tip #2: Make Sure Your Profile Picture is On Brand
I’m talking about that tiny little picture at the top of your channel that shows people your face.
Try to use the same headshot across all your social platforms. Change them all out at the same time.
Tip #3: Keep Your Header Cohesive with the Rest of Your Brand
Colors and fonts that you use across your brand as a whole, need to be in your header.
Put your face in the header and make sure it’s easy to read!
Tip #4: Match Your Thumbnails to Your Brand
Your header and your thumbnails should look like they belong to the same channel
Use the same colors, fonts, images, etc. as your header!
These tips are so quick and easy, you can do out and do them right now! What are you doing to create a brand that is recognized on YouTube? Leave a comment and let me know!
