 How to find out what’s trending on YouTube

There are several ways to see what is trending on YouTube specifically with the YouTube homepage, trending page and other third-party tools, so, let’s get to it

1. First and foremost, check the YouTube trending page. On the left-hand side of your YouTube homepage is a button that says “trending”, click that and be taken away to the trending section of YouTube.

Note: You can’t filter this by category and it tends to be very pop culture heavy.

2. VIDIQ. VidIQ offers a “most viewed” tool within their chrome extension (for free) to be able to see what’s being viewed the most by category.

3. TubeBuddy. Just like VidIQ, TubeBuddy has a tool within their extension for you to see what’s trending based on categories.
