Scheduling your content in advance has many benefits! First, it helps you maintain a consistent posting schedule. Consistency is key! This is how you build trust and engagement with your audience. Secondly, scheduling your content will save you time and effort. Instead of scrambling to create and publish a post last minute, you can take your time curating the perfect posts. This will also allow you to focus on other important tasks! So, let’s go over the steps on how to schedule instagram posts so that you can become your most efficient and consistent self!

Step 1:

Pull up instagram and hit the + button as you usually would to create a post.

From here, select whatever picture you want. Reels and carousels can also be scheduled in advance so you can choose either of those here instead if you want. Then hit “next.”

Step 2:

From here, you’ll go ahead and type out your caption, tag any people, add a location, music, etc… When you’re satisfied with your post you’ll click “Advanced Settings.”

Step 3:

Time to get this post scheduled! You’ll want to slide over the “Schedule this post” button and the following options should pop up:

Now you can choose the date and time you want your post to go live and click “Set Time.”

And voila! Your post is scheduled!

After You Schedule Instagram Posts, You Should Know:

If at any time you want to double check your scheduled posts or make edits, you can click the 3 lines on the top right of your screen and then “Scheduled content.” From there, you will see all your scheduled posts!

Scheduling your content ahead of time is easy and worth it! And once posts are scheduled, they are easy to edit and reschedule if you change your mind. So, go schedule instagram posts! You’ve got this.
